  30. EDO stands for "E"xtended "D"ata "O"ut dynamic RAM.

  32. EDO eliminates the normal wait state between execution of sequential-read
  33. commands from memory.

  35. It improves access to memory typically by 6-10%.

  37. EDO RAM also consumes less power than normal (DRAM SIMM) RAM.
